Monica M. Martin has written a great sequel to her first book, IMMORTALITY’S CARESS: ALLEGRA’S SEDUCTION. Eloise is a head strong vampire that knows what she wants andshe wants Christian out of her house. But does she? Christian enchanted her and she loved the kisses and caresses he gave her. The sex scenes are hot and will leave you fanning and wanting more. The setting, story, characters and dialogue are well developed, and Ms. Martin’s research shines with facts throughout, lending an authentic feel to this book. I enjoyed reading about this era and feel that ELOISE’S AWAKENING is a great book. Ms. Martin, I will be looking forward to reading your next book in this series.

Blurb

Allegra is very much her own woman, strong and independent. The characterizations of her friends, Sophia and Eloise are also well developed and likeable. Gabriele is a delicious rake and I found him very endearing. I also loved the vivid descriptions of the costumes, parties, the language and mannerisms of that time. I really felt as if I were there.
I have not read this author before, but plan to remedy that.
